The short version

GearXL uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic and measure outbound Amazon affiliate clicks. Google advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are disabled.

Google Analytics

When you visit GearXL, Google Analytics 4 measures page views, referral sources, approximate location, browser and device information, engagement, and outbound Amazon affiliate clicks. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies beginning with _ga to distinguish users and sessions.

Affiliate-click events include the Amazon destination, product ASIN, and link placement. GearXL does not send names, email addresses, payment information, or Amazon account information with these events. Learn more in Google's GA4 data collection documentation and privacy policy.

Amazon affiliate links

GearXL participates in the Amazon Associates program. Amazon links are marked as paid affiliate links. If you follow one, Amazon may process information under its own privacy notice and GearXL may earn a commission from a qualifying purchase. GearXL does not receive your Amazon payment details.

Product prices and availability are recorded catalog data. Verify the current listing on Amazon before making a purchase.
